Water Treatment Technology

Adequate water supply and sanitation is of great importance in addressing public health, economy, and degradation of ecosystems, and plays an important role with respect to poverty alleviation.

In regions where a large proportion of the population is not served with adequate water supply and sanitation facilities, sewage flows directly into groundwater reservoirs, lakes, streams, and rivers and eventually reaches coastal and marine ecosystems. Such mechanisms not only cause negative effect on human health but also on livelihoods of people and the natural environment with its various uses and functions.

    Good health is wealth. Environment (air, water, food, shelter etc) plays essential role in one’s health. Thus, we strive to provide services and technologies aimed at archiving the above wealth. 

   Water – without it we are death. It is a known fact that water is essential for life and water from its primary source is not always good for human consumption (drinking, cooking, washing, etc.). These days water from its primary source is contaminated by human activities thus causing illness – Cholera, Typhoid fever, Vibrios illness, Hepatitis A, etc. Small / rural communities in developing countries are the most affected by these water born diseases

    What process must water go through to become fit for human consumption? The simple answer for this question is that it has to be treated. Another question is how or by what method?  After years of research and had work, we have developed a simple, less expensive and most appropriate  method of providing potable water for small / rural communities. The well tested and approved method is our “Compact Modules of Potable Water Plants”.

     All the models process surface natural water of different  turbidity, (between 1 and 250 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit) and colour variation from 0 to 300 UPt-Co (Platinum Cobalt Unit) to obtain a treated water in stable form, with turbidity values less than 0.5NTU and colour variations less than 5 UPt-Co The models have been successful and very efficient  on raw water with values greater than 600NTU.
